Case study: Straighten a critically distorted 80m guyed lattice met mast
Client: Wind Farm Developer
Location: West Coast of Ireland 

DATA STRUCTURES technicians were recently dispatched to service an 80m guyed lattice met mast which had stopped sending data. We carried all the necessary spare parts but little did we (or the client) know what lay ahead until we arrived on the site.


The data technical problem was a simple fix but (for safety) it had to wait until our Senior Mast Technician and a rigging crew arrived on site later that day.

After investigating and identifying the problem we re-aligned the mast, re-tuned the guy wires, carried out a full climb down inspection & maintenance and provided a full report. 

We left the site leaving a secure asset and delivering valuable data for our client once again.
